Finally, the 2020 Trothe Syrah. A glowing medium purple core with a neon ruby rim exposes what is to come in the glass. Showcasing lovely notes of barbequed beef ribs, sliced black olives, crushed peppercorn, spiced boysenberry, dried blueberry, lemongrass, and desert mountain sage alongside a grippy but elegant texture and bright acidity. Finishing extremely long with yummy spice and meaty tones. Better in 2024. Highly recommended.
