Another stunning wine from winemaker Andrew Januik, this time the 2020 Lady Hawk Cabernet. Dark and brooding in the glass with that deep purple core with a neon purple rim. It’s rich and decadent but not overpowering, mostly because the acidity and tannins are so well-balanced. Aromas of ripe black plum, cassis, boysenberry preserve, sweet spice, leather, and tobacco notes present themselves beautifully alongside shades of dried mountain sage on the finish.
