The 2013 Tempranillo from Coyote Canyon opens with aromatics of pipe tobacco, red cherry, dill and orange rind. Showing a dark core this wine has a round and generous mouthfeel, leading to rich flavors of red cherry preserves, sage, red raspberry and blood orange. Delicious now, this is a wine for the short-term. (Best 2017-2022) - August, 2017 (OB)
