The 2014 Soter Mineral Springs Vineyard Sparkling Rosé is a really nice effort in this vintage. A blend of 91% Pinot Noir with the remainder Chardonnay, on the nose this Yamhill-Carlton AVA wine evokes bright red fruits that dance with shades of nutmeg and orange rind. The palate has good effervescence with delicate cranberries, pomegranate and wild mushroom undertones. The degree of salinity adds to the enjoyment. While delightful in its youth, this will cellar well for the next decade. Disgorged in Spring 2018.
