The 2016 Stag Hollow Tempranillo is a seriously interesting bottling from this warm vintage in the Willamette Valley. There is nice smoky character on the nose with reds and dark fruits and a touch of earthy terroir. The palate is fresh, rich and inviting with black tea, wild blackberry and smoked mushroom. A highly novel wine, this will continue to evolve well over the next decade.
