ARGYLE Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Reserve’ 2018

Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, with 30% being new, Argyle is producing delicious still Pinot Noirs alongside their incredible sparkling wines. Argyle’s Reserve Pinot Noir is a wine that straddles easy drinking and a wine you need to think about but falls more towards the former. A beautiful nose of ripe red raspberry, red currant, star anise and a touch white mushroom. The palate has a core of medium plus acid and tannin that coordinate nicely with the black raspberry and cardamom flavors. 5922 cases produced.
