A members-only limited edition made especially for members of the Domaine Serene wine club. The artwork on the bottle will change yearly creating a collectable series of wines. Aged for 15 months, in 100% French oak barrels, the full-bodied wine opens with a nose of dark chocolate covered cherry, toasted cinnamon, fresh sage and forest floor. The palate is luscious, rich and full-bodied with high acidity and medium plus tannins which explode with flavors of baked cherry pie, cranberry, raw Portobello mushroom, whole cloves and dried thyme leaves. Give this another few years in the bottle for the tannins to integrate and the fruit to shine.
