The wine starts off with aromas of dark cherry, ripe raspberry, forest floor, sassafras, flowers and spice. The palate is quite delicious with cherry, dark berries. herbs, citrus and earthy flavors along with a smooth and balanced texture that works it way up to the finish. This shows wonderful elegance and potential to evolve, but will need at least another few years in bottle.
