The 2018 Pinot Noir from Audeant is simply brilliant. This is a blend of fruit from Luminous Hills, Carlisle’s Crest, Nysa and Cherry Grove vineyards, this Pinot Noir is impressive right out of the gate with pretty aromas of strawberry, dark currants, and potpourri, with secondary nuances of leather, sassafras, loam, hints of coffee and dried spices. On the palate this has a medium body, as it possesses a wonderful core of bright fruit that persists through the graceful finish. Overall, this is a gorgeous Pinot Noir that should continue to evolve and drink beautifully over the course of the next decade.
