Oregon Chardonnay could be more interesting and desirable, than the Pinot Noirs in a few years. The wine is aged in 40% new French oak for 14 months. If you want a perfect example of doing Oregon Chardonnay right, this is it. An intoxicating nose of asian pear, fresh peach, baked lemon peel, marzipan and just a pinch of sweet baking spices - it really is beautiful to experience and one of the better Oregon Chardonnays I have had the privilege of trying this year. The palate is dense with green apple, fresh nectarine, baked pie crust. Incredibly balanced on the finish, the enticing flavors and acidity linger for minutes. Highly recommended.
