A heavier, meatier Pinot Noir that is aged for 16 months in 29% new French oak, the nose starts off with some baked black cherry aromas and black plum with secondary notes of pie crust, black olive tapenade and some old leather accents. The palate is leaner than the nose with flavors of blackberry pie, iodine ending with a saline, mineral finish.
