Coming from three estate vineyards and spending 10 months in French oak barrels, 19% being new, the wine opens with fresh aromas of red raspberry, cranberry and a touch of dried poultry herbs. The palate begins red-fruit forward and ends with savory characteristics of early gray tea, nutmeg with a lovely saline note and a bright acidic finish.
