Aged for 11 months in ⅓ new, ⅓ one-year and ⅓ neutral French oak barrels the stunning nose gives complex aromas of fresh black raspberry, red currants, semi-sweet chocolate, fresh ground cloves and just a touch of hoisin sauce. The mouthfeel is medium to full, the acidity is ample and tannins are present but nicely integrated. Beautiful red and dark fruit flavors pop in the mouth with secondary characteristics of toasted pine nuts and mushroom. 142 cases produced.
