Aged for 8 months in French oak barrels which gives the wine some spicy components on the palate along with flavors of dark cherry, red raspberry, brown dried mushroom and some tangerine pith. The nose also delivers aromas of rhubarb and baking spices leading to an acidic and fruit-forward finish.
