It might be hard to find a better Oregon Pinot Noir for the money and Drouhin knocks this out of the park with their 2018 vintage. An expressive nose of blueberry compote, rhubarb, freshly laid cedar bark and some dusty road notes emanate from the glass, focusing your attention on the beautiful balanced aromas. The palate is an explosion of bright bing cherry jam, potpourri, red rose petals and sweet baking spices. Definitely a fruit-forward wine on the nose and palate that finishes with bright red fruits which brings an element of sweetness to the back of the palate.
