If you want to experience how the best winemakers are crafting exquisite sparkling wines in the traditional method, this is the wine to try. Because of a cooler vintage in 2011, grapes were picked incredibly late for Oregon, which created lovely acidity that allows this wine to age gracefully over time. In fact, this wine will perform well over the next 15 years or so. Incredibly fresh and lively on the palate and on the nose with notes of fresh yellow peach, red pear, toasted brioche, and roasted nuts. It’s a wine that I could drink every single day if given the opportunity and another wonderful Extended Triage release by Argyle. 1530 cases produced.
