My second favorite from the Cristom line-up, this Pinot Noir sees 50% whole cluster fermentation and 48% new French oak barrels. Notes of red cherry, huckleberry, lemon oil, dried cedary herbs, and just a hint of sassafras, make up a complex and interesting Pinot Noir that is a joy to experience in the glass. It’s a touch leaner than its siblings and doesn’t hit you over the head with its luster. Crunchy red fruits and black tea flavors dominate the palate and ends with fresh acidity, medium tannins, and a wonderful finish. 519 cases produced.
