The second of the Ojo Brilloso set, which is aged for around 16 months in about 33% new French oak. Starting off with aromas of ripe red cherry, dried herbs, and dried strawberry on the nose the palate evolves with flavors of pomegranate, dark cherry, and a hint of pencil shavings on the mid-palate. The finish brings richness and ample fruit, with silky tannins and plenty of acidity.
