Aged sur lie for 18 months in partially new French oak which gives it lovely spicy characteristics on the nose and a fuller body. The nose is yellow pear driven with other aromas of marzipan, Meyer lemon peel, brioche, and grilled citrus. Mouthwatering acidity frames the palate, with flavors of baked pear, sweet ground clove, and dried pineapple flavors coming in second. Drink this one now or over the next 7-9 years or so. Only 175 cases were made.
