Chardonnay coming from old fines planted in 1985, it ages in all neutral oak French barrels for a total of 20 months. Displaying light lemon with a water rim in the glass, it pops with notes of Meyer lemon curd, apricot skin, dried sagebrush, toasted hazelnut, and citrusy herbs. Acidity checks in at the upper-high side, the body is full and luscious, and it finishes clean, citrus-driven, and very mineral. Only a small production of 44 cases were made.
