Aged for one year in 35% new French oak puncheons that is a blind selection of 6 barrels of the winemaker’s favorite Chardonnay, this one over-delivers on the nose and on the palate. It’s a mind-blowing mélange of ripe yellow peach, Bartlett pear, grilled citrus, dried mountain mint, honeysuckle, and crushed stone minerality. Perfectly balanced with no rough edges, it dances across the tongue. One of the best Chardonnay’s from Oregon that I’ve had in 2019, this one should age wonderfully for the next 10-12 years. Highly recommended. 150 cases.
