Old vine Riesling was planted in 1972, 1974, and 1979 and farmed partially organically and biodynamically; the dynamic notes of red pear juice, tangerine zest, ripe white peach, and just a touch of petrol are all present. It’s made in an off-dry style and has about 8 grams of residual sugar per liter. The acidity counteracts the sweetness on the palate, and it ends clean and fruit-forward. Enjoy this with spicy Asian food or cellar for the next decade or more.
