This scintillating biodynamic 2019 Summum Pinot Noir from Evening Land spends 16 months in French oak barrels and opens with notes of black cherry, ripe boysenberry, cherry cola, toasted brioche, milk chocolate, and some just a spec of wet autumn leaves. The palate is ripe and focused with some lovely blue fruit flavors, alongside some scorched cedary herbs and anise seed. Perfect levels of acidity and tannin help this wine dance on the tongue and will deliver well over the next 12 years or more.
