HARPER VOIT Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Atiquum’ 2019

A light cranberry-colored core with a neon pink rim in the glass. Totally different than the other Harper Voit wines I tasted, this one starts off a bit reductive on the nose with a lovely matchstick quality that moves to notes of red cherry pie, red currant, dried mint, sweet clove, and a hint of fresh tar. Acidity checks in on the high range, with medium levels of silky tannins and a mouthwatering red fruit and volcanic stone finish. Only 100 cases were created.
