The 2019 Bednarik Vineyard by Hundred Sons was planted in 1988 and is own-rooted. Rich and fruity on the palate, it’s blue-fruit driven, combining lovely spice tones alongside notes of fresh blueberry, black cherry, fresh violet flower, and dusty country road. About 20% whole cluster is used and it’s aged completely in neutral oak. It’s a supple and interesting Pinot Noir that should age well for the next decade or more. Just 125 cases made.
