My second favorite of the tasting, the 2019 Canary Hill Vineyard offers complex notes of spiced black cherry, Indian spice, toasted anise, umami, Earl Gray tea, and crushed Herbes de Provence to go with a full-bodied, silky smooth, and beautifully woven style on the palate. It’s definitely new-world in style but with an old-world funkiness. Enjoy this one over the next 8-10 years.
