The 2019 Origin Pinot Noir from Soter contains around 20% whole cluster and is aged for 10 months in about 30% new French oak. This stunning wine brings wonderful precision and expressiveness on the nose, very perfumed with notes of fresh black plum, cedary herbs, and a touch of butterscotch percolating through. The palate is medium-bodied with great tannin structure, and fantastic acidity, and boasting flavors of blueberry pie, sweet clove, and spicy ground black pepper. My favorite of the 2019 Soter Pinot Noirs. About 400 cases produced.
