I’m very impressed with the entry-level Pinot Noir from Domaine Divio, where sometimes the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. Displaying a light to medium cranberry ruby core with a watery rim, it stuns on the nose with aromas of sliced rhubarb, wild strawberry, black cherry fruit leather, dusty country road, tangerine oil, and toasted anise. Ample acidity and a red-fruit-focused core support the silky tannins and lengthy finish. An incredible wine for the price point.
