For the price point, the 2021 Chardonnay from Argyle delivers. Warning though, let this warm up a bit before enjoying so you can experience how great of a wine it actually is for the money. Gorgeous medium lemony core with a silver rim in the glass. It’s fermented in French oak barrels (with just 10% being new) and brings aromas and flavors of yellow apple, sliced green pear, tangerine zest, white wildflowers, wet clay, and just a smooch of dried banana. Very quaffable, this one is easily opened as a daily drinker for the summer time. 2000 cases made. Best buy.
