The 2021 Avni comes from 70% estate fruit, with the remaining 30% sourced from the best neighboring vineyards. About 18% whole cluster was used during fermentation, and it was aged for 12 months in 16% new French oak barrels. In the glass, it displays a medium to dark purple-ruby core with a lighter purple rim. Black cherry, blue plum, fresh rose, and black tea aromas and flavors are present while finishing very fruit-forward with a toasted baking spice note on the back palate. 5000 cases were made.
