The 2021 Chardonnay from Lemelson rested for 14 months in 21% new French oak barrels. Lively on the palate, with layers of green apple, grilled lemon peel, toasted hazelnuts, sweet vanilla bean, wet clay, and shades of creme brulee, all combining wonderfully over the tongue. Medium to full-bodied, it finishes with lovely candied lemon peel tones on the back of the palate. 330 cases were made.
