This Sauvignon Blanc contanis a small percentage of Muscadelle, and was 100% barrel fermented in cigar shaped barrels for 23 months. Mekera Vineyard is set at an elevation of 2400 feet in Knights Valley, this is elevation is extremely high for the varietal. Bright and focused, this begins with seductive aromatics of honeydew, brioche and white flowers, which all join together and soar from the glass. The mouthfeel is gorgeous, as flavors of honeysuckle, white peach, pink grapefruit and brioche remain Persistent through the finish. (Best 2017-2025) - October, 2017 (OB)
