The 2019 Syrah from Westwood offers up are lovely aromas of ripe raspberries, cherry, clove, black pepper, Provencal herbs, and a hint of vanilla bean. On the palate this has delicious flavors of muddled red berries, spice, and dried herbs. Give this some air for a few hours before enjoying, as it needs some time to open up. Showcasing a stunning dark ruby/purple, it delivers ample acidity and an earthy finish that lingers on. Better in 2024, enjoy over the next 7-10 years
