The 2001 'Dark Blossom' by Sine Que Non is an absolutely stunning wine that is showing marvelously at nearly twenty years of age. On the nose this translucent colored Grenache reveals bright red berries and citrus blossom aromas that combine marvelously with the underbrush and earthy undertones. On the palate this shows off its silky mouthfeel with red cherry candy, guava, and shades of nectarine rind with wild mushrooms that give this an exotic edge. While this is simply incredible now, it also looks as if it still has a decade for more left in the tank.
