Fruit coming from vines planted in 1999, this spectacular Chardonnay from the Talley Rincon Vineyard is aged sur lie for 16 months in 50% new French oak barrels. Showcasing a gorgeous light lemon core with a silvery rim in the glass, it pops with fresh flavors and bright aromas of Meyer lemon zest, honeysuckle flower, white mushroom, ripe Anjou pear, slivered almonds, and breezy mountain air. The palate brings ample acidity, a medium to full-body, and lovely floral and pear notes with just a hint of citrusy herbs to finish the wine. Only 150 cases produced. Highly recommended.
