Another stunning Paul Lato Chardonnay coming from 30-year-vines and aged for 16 months in 55% new French oak barrels - it’s zippy, rich, and elegant in the glass. The nose expresses notes of yellow wildflowers, freshly cut red apple, white peach, fresh pineapple, and toasted slivered almonds. A full-bodied mouthfeel meshes perfectly with the elevated acidity and wonderful structure. I absolutely adored the herbaceous and tropical fruit finish that goes on for ages. Drink now or enjoy over the next decade with proper cellaring.
