The 2016 Dierberg Vineyard 'Block 5' Pinot Noir begins with gorgeous, complex aromas of ripe berries, red currants, dark soil, and pomegranate, followed by hints exotic spices, violets and orange peel all coming together and bursting from the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a lovely complex flavor profile driven by a core of ripe fruits and vibrant acidity. Overall, this is a beautiful seamless red that is approachable now and also has incredible aging potential.
