This Pinot Noir from Sandhi comes from Sanford & Benedict fruit and sourced from the original 1971 plantings. It opens with gorgeous aromas of ripe red cherry, strawberries, exotic spices, sassafras, dried leaf and spring flowers all coming together beautifully. On the palate this possesses a medium body, with a soft, round texture, along with bright red fruits and earthy flavors that lead into the seamless finish. Although this shows plenty of youthful appeal, it would be best to allow this another few years of botltle age before approaching.
