The 2017 Saint Georges Zinfandel comes from ungrafted, 95-year-old vines nestled in the cooler climate along the south end of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Its concentrated nature offers expressions of blueberry, plum fruit leather, hibiscus and a meaty finish. Utterly poised with its powdery tannins and plush body, the fleshy mid-palate makes way for its peppercorn finish.
