The 2018 Sojourn Cellars Reuling Vineyard Chardonnay is another outstanding effort. Bright lemon creme brûlée and pineapple tones come together on the nose. The palate has a soft texture and wonderfully plush mouthfeel. A light salinity mingles with the great sense of minerality and rich orchard fruit flavors with nutty undertones. The exceedingly long finish lingers. Every bit beautiful in its youth, the 2018 Reuling Vineyard Chardonnay should cellar well for a decade or more, picking up lovely tertiary notes as it ages.
