Capture's Innovant is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot their vineyards in Alexander Valley. It starts off with a wonderful aromatic profile of ripe dark currants, blackberries, blueberries and black cherries which are laced with tobacco, sage, graphite and traces of damp loamy notes. On the palate this is full-bodied with a gorgeous plush texture which is beautifully layered with ripe dark fruits, sweet spices and hints of chocolate that expand through the finish. This is absolutely outstanding now and should continue to drink beautifully for several years to come.
