The Dutton Vineyard Chardonnay from Kistler is fantastic. It begins with an inviting bouquet of tangerine, lime custard, pear, quince, tropical fruits, crushed stone and white flower, it instantly impresses. On the palate this is full-bodied chardonnay with a delicious creamy texture and fantastic natural acidity that adds balance to this wine. Fantastic on release, but there is no doubt that this will gain complexity with a few years of bottle age, and can last over a decade in the cellar.
