The 2019 Fortuna Vineyard is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petite Verdot. It immediately begins to impress as it releases pretty aromas of ripe red and dark currants, cassis and dark plums which are woven together with spices, violets, chocolate and subtly hints of chocolate all taking shape. On the palate this displays a full body that is nicely layered with a wonderful plush mouthfeel. It goes on to show excellent concentration and depth, while retaining a wonderful sense of freshness through the finish. The 2019 Fortuna Vineyard Cabernet is already quite delicious, however it will also go on to drink beautifully for many years to come.
