The 2012 Andretta Brunello di Montalcino is made by Tenuta Vitanza, and is a bit more modern in style than the Traditional Brunello from the estate. This is packed with aromas and flavors of dark cherries, blackberries, vanilla, baking spices, toast and hints of licorice all coming together in the glass. Full-bodied and well-structured with around, velvety texture which leads into a long, chewy finish. This is already accessible and will drink beautifully upon release and with some additional bottle age. (Best 2017-2025) - March, 2017 (JD)
