The Te Muna Road Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is fruit driven with moderate prickly acid and marked viscosity. This wine would be well received by lovers of Pinot Gris. Light fruit aromas of kiwi and honeydew blend with sweeter scents of mandarin orange, peach, papaya and honey. A slight herbaceousness on the nose presents as lemon balm and basil. Fruit notes repeat on the palate and are joined with a hint of vegetal flavor, snow peas, plus a flinty minerality on the finish. (Best 2017-2022) - March, 2017 (JH)
