Mo Ayoub has left it a secret with regards to the source of this remarkable Pinot Noir. As this fantastic wine begins to open it releases a lovely aromatic profile of black truffles, black cherry pie, red currants and suggestions of baking spices. The palate is silky and elegant, showing wonderful flavors of cherry pie, spices, loganberry, guava and wild mushroom with a dash of peat moss. The range of aromatics and flavors at play is exceptional, as is the gorgeous mouthfeel. While this is already quite appealing, it should continue to evolve and gain further complexity over the next decade. (Best 2017-2030) - April, 2017 (OB) - April, 2017 (OB)
