Mosconi is another simply brilliant wine from Chiara Boschis in this vintage. Displaying remarkable purity, this slowly opens to beautiful aromatics of fresh red berries, spring florals and exotic spices with underlying hints of tobacco, eucalyptus and earthy nuances. On the palate this continues impress with its excellent overall structure, balance and focus, as it demonstrates notable depth and concentration. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of red fruits and spices lingering. While this certainly shows some early appeal, Mosconi will ultimately benefit with additional bottle age. (Best 2019-2034) - August, 2017 (JD)
