The Vieilles Vignes is another simply remarkable effort in this vintage. Sourced from vines over 90-years-old this gorgeous wine opens with a stunning aromatic profile that includes ripe blackberries and raspberries woven together with spices, cured meats, floral, sweet spices and earthy nuances all coming together. This continues to impress with its elegance and beautiful round texture along with its striking overall purity and finesse. The balance and concentration simply incredible in this brilliant red. This is already offering plenty of early appeal, and it should continue to evolve and take on even more complexity over time. (Best 2019-2035) - December, 2017 (JD)
