The 2016 Gap's Crown opens with pretty aromas of dark cherry, cranberry, dark soil and dried herb. On the palate this is medium bodied with lots of ripe fruits backed by layers of complex flavors. This wine is very approachable now and also has plenty of aging potential. I think it will show best with 2-3 of cellaring and flourish over the next decade.
