The Skin n' Bones white from BK was inspired by wines from the Jura Region. 2013 is the second vintage of this wine and it is comprised of 80% Sauvignon, aged 25 days on its skin and 20% Chardonnay, fermented in stainless steel prior to being aged 12 months in French puncheons. Naturally with this style there is a bit of earthy funk, but it also delivers lovely aromas of orange peel, peach, shaved metal and key lime. It shows a lovely texture with lots of minerality and acid all the way through the finish. Drink it now or over the next 5-7 years. (Best 2014-2020) - August, 2014 - (MD)
